| There are three kinds of actions:
1. Physical actions 2. Verbal actions 3. Mental actions
It is commonly understood that physical actions are most important and mental actions are least important; what do you think? |

| Thoughts...
An example to compare the three... say you see someone that you don't like...
A physical action would be slapping, hitting or take the gun and shoot 'em.
A verbal action would be yelling, cursing at 'em.
A mental action would be despising, thinking bad thoughts, or even cursing in your mind about 'em. |

| Ok. Now 'matters' in what sense and important to what aspect of what ?:)
(be warned, there is no guarantee i'll engage in a discussion once enough firm ground is set) |

| lol... recently... i find that you like to argue over the sementics and definitions of the words rather than the concept.
but yes... "matters" means... results in most effect... most important... etc.... |

| I think verbal actions are matter most, that's how I see people treat each other now a day. Due to the fact that sometimes a war or peace can be broken or mend just by words. |

| Hmm... so if someone swear at you, you'll get hurt and offended more than someone beating you? |

| when i cane my kids, the result are quicker, but the effect shorter term. when i scold/explain/reason to them instead, the results are slower, but they stay in memory longer. so i use a combination of both. a (pre) quick capital punishment followed by a (post) lengthy brainwash/reasoning/explanation session.... hahaha
how does a mental action actually help since it doesn't do/accomplish anything except for maybe sometimes making u more upset instead of the other party? |

| Hmm... in terms of results, that's true.
But physical and vocal actions are just the projections of your mental actions.
Example: if you see someone you hate, your mind starts with bad thoughts... animosity (thoughts of hatred) starts in your mind.. ie: a mental action
As it gets more stronger, more intense, it becomes a vocal action. You yell, you curse at that person.
As it gets more stronger, more intense, it becomes a physical action. You punch him, kick him, or stab him.
So basically, physical and vocal actions are just the projections of your mental actions. It measures the intensity of your mental action.
Everything starts in the mind :) |

| Physical actions I think wouldnt be serious unless you kill someone or make him end up in coma. Most fights you can easily recover from and most of the times it wont effect someone mentally. I think it ends with a beatin cause you wont yell at someone whose lying on the ground but although you could have bad thoughts in your mind when you run away.
Verbal actions could lead to either physical actions or you walk away with bad thoughts. It could effect people and hurt them mentally which is far worse in most cases then being beaten down.
Mental actions... Its probably just thinkin bad sh!t about although this could also lead to physical actions and/or verbal actions. This is what you would think... although sometimes the mind could be shut off and you wont think. If you do some actions like "AntiFA gatherings" you would go there not thinkin just walk there gather with some other people, shut your mind off and just do whatever you there for.
So I would believe the mind doesnt have to be involved. You can do physical actions without thinkin, you can do verbal actions without thinkin.
A bit off topic: AntiFA is a extreme leftwing organisation fightin their enemies with all means possible. _________________ Since 30 July 2007 I had DESTINY above my head

| wow...interesting subject !! Verbal actions badly attacks us for the only reason that Physical actions and Mental actions are somewhere inside the ppl. U can or cannot discover them. They will be a mystery forever if that person know to play the role he wants. How can my friend's mental or physical actions be important if he hide them? And maybe is the best think not to know what is there, in someone's head and soul... I'm affraid to think about the real "face" of my friend, parent...Life is too cruel to be yourself all the time and your physical action be the some with mental and verbal one. Don't u think? |
