In the beginning of the fight... I was just overran by a few summoned beasts of my opponent (you can still see the dirt that has risen up behind them...). Two of my team are already dead but you can see my beautiful leg in that awesome white robe. My artilleryman got hurt (and is holding his shoulder) but... Revenge from my Gunner!!! And this critical hit was the last drop for my opponents sword main... All dead :))) Collecting the loot The surviving heroes :) This was made yesterday at level 2/5 graphics in 1024*768. Hope you enjoyed it.

That can mean only one thing: you're too good for your level range Try also ABFL (buy a auto-battle license, load it for 20 fights, turn it on and play 2.5 Free leagues without being at the computer).

Well.... GRATZ FOR YOUR WINNING FIRST OF ^^ GOGO!! Say that cell/formation kind of battle style & it reminded me of old RPG games i played on my Amiga ages ago like Pool of radiace, Curse of the Azure Bonds M.M. But a big but when the genre of real time strategy popped up like Dune & early Command & Counquor it moved fast to the roleplaying scene to sence it was so superiour to turn based..... Like first Baldurs Gate & Baldurs Gate II m.m. Well i dont know is this a Turnbased MMRPG or does it just look like it?

It's fast paced turn based battle. You can have up to 9 mercenaries (you included) in a 3*3 formation (3 rows and 3 columns). [btw, there are 20+ mercs you can chose of, ranging from D class mercs (the weekest) to B class mercs (curently the strongest); there will also come in the future, A class and S class mercs] On your turn you can move up to 5 characters and you have 30 seconds in total on your turn. 30 seconds seem long but they are certainly not. During this time (or less) you have to see which of your mercs have 100+ Action points (only they could move during that turn), figure out in which order you want to attack, who of the enemy mercs to attack, to guard (skip the turn with that merc and give it to another merc with 100+ Action points) and other things. Depending on the type of mercs you can attack the enemy. Most of the mercs can normally attack the first row of the enemy formation, so the front row is made of tanks who protect the strategically important second and third rows. You can still have melee mercs in the second or third row and you can attack the enemy but the enemy has to get past the first row to be able to get your mercs in the second or third row (there are exceptions though). In fact this battles are like chess with tactics and strategies and this is the thing that atracts me to it. You have to think in advance and adapt to the enemies strategy. And beside the battles, in atlantica i have other 4-5 things i can do for fun so it's not just the strategic and tactical battles that atract me to this game :)
