Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit had critics buzzing when it debuted at E3 in Los Angeles two weeks ago (we were among the many that named it our E3 Racing Game of Show). And even though the game isn't set to launch until November, gamers will soon have the chance to see for themselves what all the fuss is about. Electronic Arts today announced Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit On Tour, a seven-location event that will bring the game to a city near you this summer.
EA starts Hot Pursuit's engine in New York on July 14 at the Manhattan Classic Car Club, where attendees will have the opportunity to go hands on with the game, listen to mash-ups from DJ Z-Trip, and check out a one-of-a-kind Lamborghini cop car.
"This game is about the heat of competition, cops versus racers, taking down your friends and showing them who owns the streets," EA's Keith Munro said in a statement. "These events celebrate that spirit of one-upmanship by getting friends together to play together, even before the game is released."
More exotic cars and hip hop and rock artists will highlight the tour as it continues across the country, culminating in a launch event for the game on November 16 in Los Angeles. The seven-city tour includes: -- New York, July 14 -- Chicago, Aug. 5 -- Seattle, Sept. 4 -- San Francisco, Sept. 11 -- Austin, Oct. 7 -- Miami, Oct. 21 -- Los Angeles, Nov. 16 Hot Pursuit is being developed by Criterion Games for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Windows PCs. since 4 years ago when i bought my new PC i've been playing all the NFSs at full graphic quality with complete ease, the NFS to challenge my PCs abilites was not yet released
P.S. i've been thinking about it and if the game is as good as i think, i might buy it just to be able to play online :P
