Restrepo

Well they claim it to be a true story and they've got the National Geographic logo on it too so I don't know what to think of it. Considering the war is metaphorically speaking right next door for reasons which can only be hypothesized about I guess watching this movie/documentary with a clear, open AND pessimistic mind will help to gain insight into what is going through the minds of the soldiers that are fighting there ...

Isnt this a "serie"(dunno if its called this in english) also? I remember lots of those faces from a show I saw some weeks ago.

Not that I know of mate .. but do check it out and let us know too ... if you are right i'll start its torrent hunt instantly .. from what I've discovered thus far the movie is gonna hit the screen on 2nd of July.

At 1.26 I remember that old man who was the only "high leader" who wanted to talk with the amercians cause all other declined. The americans were also supposed to help the village to get some water supply.

I dont remember much cause I thought the series was lame because and from an very lame american point of view: "look were american are good, we help ppl and war is good and all that kind of bullshit".
