That link will take you to the GoogleDocs where this is kept at ... good read.
This goes into details like why those meanings are attached to symbols and also into Jung Archetypes and so on. However, if you have a good (more current) version to share then do share I would be very interested in learning about other analysis methods and their implications.
As my knowledge serves me, I haven't infringed any Intellectual Property rights in sharing this document, anyone who disputes that please post or PM me with the link to this thread so I can remove the document from public sharing. _________________ "The worst thing in life is attachment, it hurts when you lose it. | Well it primarily depends on which symbols you wanna look up ...
Then you also have to consider what is the person/group/politician that made it possibly thinking ...
1. Are the intelligent enough to be considering subliminal meanings? 2. Are they more interested in the depiction of the image?
I tend to see that in most situations situation # 2 is more dominant and therein you need to see for the relatively less subliminal messages in there ... e.g. This place we hang out at alot had its billboard sponsored by Lipton (the tea company) and they had 3 cups on the board the handles of which could easily be read as PPP (name/abbreviation of a strong political party in pakistan) now one can assume this as a blunder and an oversight or unintentional message being given ....
They recently changed the board and there are still 3 cups on the board BUT this time only one handle is visible and no PPP that I could spot. However, the new image in the board is a clenched fist (what a punch looks like) and this is the symbol of a different political party (MQM, which is actually the rival of PPP) . The branding message is the same, so is the slogan but now there is a fist in it.
All comes down to what sort of credit you give to the people who create the banner as to how much thought they put into creation/selection of the imagery.
Simplest example, seek out famous logo's for companies and notice how many of the famous ones use Blue as a color (its a relaxing color). On the flipside, I can safely say I haven't spotted any majorly big companies with orange logos (orange results in aggression towards the color)
However, I have been, for some time now, looking for a dictionary of colors according to Yanic analysis and according to Jung's analysis (which I'm sure they did) lemme know if you find that. _________________ "The worst thing in life is attachment, it hurts when you lose it. | Well Im not gonna make it as long as you did.
I like symbols especially old religious ones (Around 2000 years old or older) and such stuff. Although I believe school fed me with all that stuff + I did some study in my spare time.
But the current ones Im mostly interested in are political ideologies and their symbols. Example Black star, black flag (Although I know what those means).
But well the main reason I want to know about political symbols is the following:
1. I fell in love with True anarchism. Although this matter I need no more info about symbols and stuff unless its extremly rare ones.
2. This is the main reason but liberal are trying to take over my country and I wont to diss em everywhere its possible, Ideology, symbols, past & politrix. So the main reason are right now for making fun of liberals which I hate! _________________ Since 30 July 2007 I had DESTINY above my head

| Hmmmm ... well I get what you are saying and I've been faced with similar problems myself. i.e. How to create truly subliminal messages without affecting the actual content of the message. This of course also means symbols/colors/etc.
Your best bet is to study the various Yanic symbols. However you need to keep in mind those symbols are very derivative in nature and its extremely hard for a person to understand their underlying meaning consciously.
Your best bet, stick with the conventional symbols (the ones they use) and figure out ways on how to "defeat" those symbols. e.g.
MQM = Political Party Symbol often used = raised clenched fist.
How to show it down? Tiny person with raised clenched fist being stepping on by 1 big foot.
very simple and easy to think up I know but I did that in a few seconds only to show you what I mean :P _________________ "The worst thing in life is attachment, it hurts when you lose it. The best thing in life is loneliness, it teaches you everything and when you lose it, you get everything."

| Well as said earlier main goal or almost the only goal right now is f@ck with the liberals. _________________ Since 30 July 2007 I had DESTINY above my head
