If you think that someone other than Poison was the first one to sing this song, you are incorrect. I even have covers which were apparently done by Guns and Roses however I haven't been able to ensure their credibility.
Great ballad, great song ... Originally done in 1988 and yes we've heard it alot and if you want the "newer" version of it then you could try to locate the Casey James version (American Idol Season 9 Finale)
