As promised, here's an introduction to the science of the mind; this is purely a personal discovery and realization to the mysteries of the mind; all information are for discussion purposes; they are not meant as facts or theories supported by scientific empirical evidences. Although, they are supposed to be reasonings derived from scientific methods by deduction and logic.

The mind and its inner-workings are based on a separate realm (the time continuum) vs the matter which belongs to the physical realm (3D spatial continuum). It can be said that the mind occupies time in the same way as matter occupies space. This is the realm where thoughts, memories, emotions, dreams, etc operates. This is also the realm where some religions use to suggest the existence of souls, and reincarnations and/or rebirths.

To begin to understand how the mind works, it is necessary to understand what is the mind, and what it is made of? We will not focus on the physical aspect (ie: the brain, the neurons, and synapses) because these belong in the physical realm. Instead we'll look at the four segments that made up the mind and how it works.

1. Consciousness - this is the part of the the mind that cognizes. This is the segment that interact with the physical plane. We have six separate consciousness:
   
   
   1. eye consciousness - shapes, visions, light coming in contact with the eye sense door
      
   2. ear consciousness - sounds, noise, music, speech, coming in contact with the ear sense door
      
   3. nose consciousness - smells coming in contact with the nose sense door
      
   4. tongue consciousness - tastes coming in contact with the tongue sense door
      
   5. body consciousness - anything tangible coming in contact with the body sense door
      
   6. mind consciousness - any thought, emotions, dreams coming in contact with the mind sense door
      
   
   The first part of the mind's job is only to cognize whatever happening at the sense doors. It works like a radio antenna picking up the raw signals.


2. Perception - this is the part of the mind that recognizes and evaluates whatever happening at the first part of the mind
   
3. Feeling - this is the part of the mind that experience whatever happening at the physical realm (body sensations) as well as mental realm (emotions).
   
4. Volition - this is the part of the mind that reacts to whatever happening
   

Every moment of time is occupied by one of these 4 segments of the mind.
