hrmmmm there are some concepts i like, others which i do not...

not because i don't have an open mind, but because i question their "innocence"...

good watch though ... gives me tons to research ..

Xs explain in more detail what you meant by there "innocence" Do you think that they have a hidden agenda?

well yes,

for one thing, the reason i liked the first one one beacuse it didn't have an agenda except to uncover the lies.

Also, a few concepts that it speaks about are questionable this time around, also given the nature of the film and its topics it leans heavily towards Scientology as well as atheism.

I'm not saying either is wrong and not saying either is right, all i'm saying is due to the nature of its topic it would've been best to stand at a neutral point in order to share truth rather then be leaning heavily towards a certain topic.

Also, yes, i would have to agree with Triss, Economics was boring but very relavent however, given the release date of the film there is ALOT more that could've been covered.

To start things off, Pakistan. The (recent) assasination of Benazir Bhutto, the (recent) fall of a "dictator" under whom Pakistan flourished who was complying with US demands while not letting them get outta hand, and the current President of Pakistan, whose nick name was "Mr. 10%" due to immense (currently open) cases of corruption against him in various courts of law. Pakistan and otherwise. (Last i checked Cases were still open against him in Swiss courts)

So the book, confessions of an economic hitman is very VERY relevant to the things happening globally at this point, however, the stand point on it was rather reflective and guiding people towards the concept of venus project, which is what i didn't like in particular.

I love the idea of a resource based society but I don't think the Venus Project is the way forward I am not 100% sure about them ( or is this because I have been brought up in the monetary based society and have been programed to think that there is no other way!! ).

I also did notice the blatant advertising for SIEMENS which pissed me off alot!!! unless SIEMENS are all for a resource based society and are happy not to make money anymore then Happy Days :) but I doubt it.

Well for me I am an atheist and have no place or ever will have a place in my life for religion in my eyes it causes far to many problems in society than it solves. Although I would never try to convince people that there is no God unlike many Christine's who are always trying to tell me that there is Wink

Anyway do think its about time that the world needs to make some changes to make it a better place.

I really wish I was better at written so I could really express my feelings like Xs who is a genius at putting his views across and who I feel will one day become a great man (in my eyes already is)!!

No comments from me... I turned off the documentary after sitting through 15 min of "economic" stuffs.
